The kACE2 Modeling Studio

The kACE2 Environment

The kACE2 experience starts by users interacting with the kACE2 platform through the collaborative analytics and model database. The database captures expertise from individuals throughout your organisation and merges this expertise into leading-edge modeling solutions, making those models globally available to others.

Development of Analytic Models
At the heart of kACE2 is its unique Modeling Studio. The kACE2 Modeling Studio transforms the whole world of analytic system development. It enables the fast track development of robust modeling solutions, whether you want simple or highly sophisticated analytical systems.  It allows the design of everything from complex mathematical structures to architected network environments.

The kACE2 Modeling Studio encompasses an easy-to-use interface that facilitates, even for non-technical users, the design of calculations, networks, end uses and data structures. It makes it possible for models to be represented graphically using calculation trees, both for representing model and model use with derived data.

Whether you're an analyst, trader, modeler, or any other type of user, you can configure the screens to suit you.

The Analytics Directory

To build any complex financial model, sophisticated analytic functions are necessary. As well as Kalahari's own analytics library, a wide range of third party analytics libraries are also bundled within the system. These functions can be mixed completely freely in the system. To ensure that no restraint is put on the range of capabilities an API is provided to allow your own functions to be added.

These functions can be pulled together simply by dragging them on to the workspace and making the appropriate connections, either manually or automatically. The appropriate data view is then automatically available in the Modeling Environment thus enabling user interface design.

All models and changes thereto are tracked in a full source control system so that all mathematical models, together with their history, are completely open to audit scrutiny.  With the kACE2 Modeling Studio it is at last possible for the development of analytical systems to keep pace with the market, and in an ordered and auditable way.

Once the core model and its user interfaces are built they are sent by the internal operations team to the solution server.  Click here to find out more.
