Matt Wilkes, Director of Global Strategic Accounts

Matt has an extensive background in the financial markets that began in the mid 80s. 

He worked for Hambros Bank in London for 11 years. During this period he followed a career path through the back and middle offices prior to joining the dealing room where he gained an extensive knowledge and first hand trading experience in many Treasury products across a number of Currencies.

He was involved in the development of various Lotus and Excel spreadsheets used for pricing and valuing within the trading room. Matt then joined a smaller trading team at Banco di Napoli for a couple of years where he had sole responsibility for all OBS products. He was again involved in developing a front office IRS and FRA based trading system, and also assisted the middle office in the valuation of the various trading books.

Prior to joining Kalahari in 2000 he qualified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
